Watch for FROGGIE!

Froggie has been adopted as the Go Green mascot.
Wherever you see Froggie, there is a choice to be made.
Remember to make the right choice . . . GO GREEN!

Leadership BC has partnered with the BC Games to encourage everyone to Go Green, raise their awareness and change their behaviors during Games weekend. Go Green Ambassadors will hand out postcards and rewards for those “caught” doing a good “Green Deed.”

After the Games, organizers will be interviewed to document greening steps that were successful and to suggest improvements that will help create a benchmark for future planning. The resulting document will help other organizers green their Games and events across the province in the future.

The Environmental Committee is taking care of the operational aspects of greening during the Games. They will be handling waste management and recycling and will be posting signs at strategic locations throughout the Games reminding athletes and visitors of greening opportunities.

Wildsight in Kimberley has provided NO IDLING signs to post at key locations.
The signs will be donated to the schools after the Games.
