Table tennis takes off

The table tennis team from the Fraser River-Delta zone took a decisive early lead in the competitions on the first day of the BC Winter Games in Cranbrook.

Perhaps it was sheer determination which drove the team Lau has been a professional Table Tennis coach in Richmond for 10 years. When
he wasn’t watching his players volley back and forth, Lau was helping them with their techniques.

“I’m working to help others become better at table tennis.” Lau said about what drove him to turn his love of the sport into something more than simply playing for enjoyment.
