A sea of BC Winter Games luggage
As 1000’s of athletes, coaches and officials descend on Cranbrook and Kimberley, 100’s of volunteers in accommodation and transportation sort and expedite hundreds and hundreds of pieces of luggage and equipment.
Luggage will be transported to dozens of accommodation facilities and sports venues, as athletes ready themselves for the games.
Athletes from all over the province of the British Columbia are arriving in Kimberley and Cranbrook for the BC Winter Games.
Over 2,000 athletes, coaches and officials are being welcomed and greeted by Kimberley-Cranbrook BC Winter Games hosts as they prepare for the opening ceremonies Thursday evening at the Cranbrook Rec Plex.

Congratulations to all the volunteers who are working hard in Cranbrook and Kimberley to make this a great Winter Games. I was wondering if I could find a photo of my daughter arriving on the bus from Kelowna, but I see from the mound of luggage that this is an unrealistic hope. I will have to leave her in your capable hands. On behalf of the thousands of parents who have entrusted their kids to you--thank you!
