Kootenay wins 3-1 in Female Hockey

Kootenay's Goaltender Rosanne Wallace of Nelson was 12 minutes away from posting a shutout over the Island this afternoon. The Island's Toni Angell of Nanaimo had other ideas though by scoring the lone goal for the Island at the 8:00 minute mark into the third period making the final score 3-1.

Both the Island and Kootenay are now done playing in the round robin and will wait to see where they will place in Pool A.
