Fraser River finishes first in Pool B



Cranbrook, BC – Zone 4 - Fraser River got goals from seven different players and went on to a 7-1 rout of the Zone 7 – Northwest as both club’s finished up the round robin portion of the BC Winter Games in Men’s Hockey.

Fraser River opened the scoring on a goal by Jeremy Gossard of Delta to give Fraser River a 1-0 first period lead. Fraser River opened the floodgates in the second period on goals by Aaron Ho of Burnaby, Corey Tasaka of Richmond, Mason Malkowich from New Westminster and Steven Killy of Delta to pace Fraser River to a 5-0 second period lead.

Northwest got one goal back early into the third period by Connor Buick of Kitimat to make it 5-1 but Fraser River got two more goals by Jessie Siemens of Richmond and Zach Euerby of Delta.
The win assures Fraser River of at least a tie for first in Pool B.
